Even after the holiday season has come and gone, Ja Morant is still generous with his giving spirit.
Following the Grizzlies’ victory against the Sacramento Kings in 2023, Morant generously gave away his highly anticipated ‘Ja1 signature shoes.
Ja removed his shoes and spotted a keen fan holding up a sign that read, “”Ready to rock out in my Ja1’s come summer 2023!””
Ja showed his gratitude by autographing a pair of shoes from the game and gifting them to an excited young fan. He also took pictures with the kid and his mother.
As a birthday surprise, the kid named Zander Carr and his mother traveled from Gallatin to Memphis for the game. They were delighted to leave with an unforgettable present, a new pair of shoes.
“”I read the sign, and from then on, I knew who was getting the pair of shoes. You can tell how much he wanted it and loved it,”” said Morant.
He added “”the great thing to see leaves you speechless. You see somebody that big of a fan of you bursting out and crying. It was even more crazy to see his mom crying as well. I know that they will never forget that touch”.

Lastly, this upcoming spring, on 12th January, he will select twelve lucky fans to be gifted a pair of shoes!
